Functions of General Administration Department (GAD):

 

1.

To monitor all establishment matters of Z.P. employees.

 

2.

To minute the meetings held by President and follow up with the Depts. for necessary actions and complience of the decisions.

 

3.

To arrange co-ordination meeting and prepare minutes of the meetings.

 

4.

Recording complaints from visitors.

 

5

To make all arrangements for tour of ministers/VIPs in ZP.

 

6.

To make entries of the documents related to Legislative Assembly questions, guidelines, from higher officers or Govt. references from  the Mantralaya and other higher offices.

 

7.

Keeping record of Confidential reports of Class 3 & 4 ZP staff working under GAD.

 

8.

Arrange and provide required training to ZP staff.

To consolidate the information required by the various statutory committees i.e. SC/ST/VJNT/OBC and  submit/provide it to the govt. & concern committees.

 

10.

To submit the information of recruitment made by nomination and promotion of class III & class IV employees in prescribed form to govt. and commissionerate.

 

11.

Scrutinize all proposals regarding sanctions of advance increments to class III & class IV staff.

 

12..

Scrutinize all proposals regarding exemptions in departmental examinations, Hindi / Marathi language examinations etc.
 

13.

Carry out yearly inspection of Block Offices i.e.Panchayat Samitis.

 

14.

Scrutinize the proposals of departmental enquiry, disciplinary action cases etc.

 
15.

To monitor court cases.
