The vision of Zilla Parishad Latur is to empower every citizen of Latur district, fulfill their rights and opportunities and increase inclusive participation in the process of rural development. We focus on providing people-oriented, transparent and timely services to achieve comprehensive and sustainable development of rural areas.

The main objective of Zilla Parishad Latur is to provide services in rural areas. Balanced, inclusive and sustainable development Our mission is to bring about positive changes in the quality of life of every villager through efficient, transparent, accountable and people-oriented administration at the Panchayat level.

  • Empowerment and training of women’s self-help groups
  • Women’s health check-up, maternity services and nutrition
  • Implementation of skill training and self-employment schemes for women empowerment
  • Women’s leadership opportunities in local self-government bodies

• Child Welfare:

  • Improving the quality of Anganwadi centers
  • Focus on nutrition, vaccination, primary education
  • Establishment of awareness and support centers for child safety
  • Protection of child rights

• Senior Citizens and Persons with Disabilities:

  • Creation of shelters and facility centers for a dignified life
